    (270) 444-0660

I was born in Massachusetts, and as the son of a US Army soldier moved all over. Including out west, down south, back east, and even Germany for six years. In 1991 we moved to Kentucky, and I decided to call it home.

I've been married to the love of my life since 1999, and we have two beautiful young daughters. We live in Reidland, and are part of the church at Gospel Mission. Spending time with my family and friends, working with the youth at church, and playing bass in the youth band are just a few of the things I love to do.

I consider myself blessed to work with everyone here at Bluegrass BMW. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork is, without a doubt, top notch.

I am 25 years old and I have a beautiful  5 year old daughter, Riley, who is my world! I was a member in the Paducah Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Paducah Symphony Orchestra, First Baptist Church Orchestra, and the CCA high school band where I played the Oboe in all. After high school I moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a year to spend time with my family that lives there. I moved back to Kentucky in 2007 and then enrolled at John Casablancas modeling school in Nashville, TN, where I took classes in fashion, runway, makeup and acting. I booked a few fashion shows, did a TV commercial and was in a music video. I bought my first house in 2010 and since then I have added 3 cats to the family, Snowflake, Peter Piper and Bishop. On our free time Riley and I like to play outside, do arts and crafts, watch movies and play with our cats. I also really enjoy cooking, it’s something I’m good at. I like being creative and there is always new recipes to try! Life is good, I have no complaints or regrets. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!

    Rick Duncan

    General Manager

I was born and raised in Paducah and have lived here most of my life. The only exception being four years spent in Detroit working my way thru college. I have been “car crazy” for as long as I can remember. I learned to drive in my father’s 1957 Ford Ranchero. A vehicle that my twin brother and I still own to this day. I started in the automobile business in 1983 at a Pontiac-Lincoln-Mercury dealership. One year later I joined Allan Rhodes Chrysler-Honda and have been “here” ever since. “Here” has certainly changed over the years. We added BMW a year after I joined Allan Rhodes and in May of 1993, I and two partners bought Allan Rhodes out and changed the name to Bluegrass Honda-BMW. Mike Absher and I became friends several years ago and in October 2009 we completed a transaction that made Mike and his wife Cheryl the new owners of Bluegrass.  I am married to my best friend Kathy and we have four kids and six grandkids. In my spare time I enjoy restoring vintage automobiles, any kind of racing, and traveling back roads.

I started off in the clean up shop in 2008 and by 2012, I was in sales. I'm a firm believer that no matter what you do in life, always be good to those around you. I'm beyond thankful to be a part of this company and to know these people around me.

I was born and raised in Paducah. Shortly after high school, I met my beautiful wife, Mistelle. Knowing her has been an absolute blessing. She brought our son, Desmond, into this world in 2009 and I'll forever love her for that. My most proudest achievement in life is being a dad.

When I'm not at the dealership, you can find me at home running around with my son and having a good time drumming to whatever music I can get my hands on, watching science fiction shows with the family, reading and discussing comics with my wife. We're definately a nerd family. Life is too short to be someone else.

Richard F. Marks is a true automobile enthusiast. At a young age he would impress his family members by identifying and naming all makes and models he saw on the streets before being able to phrase coherent sentences.  In his teenage years Richard dreamed of becoming a professional musician, taking up the bass guitar at age 15. As his teenage dreams turned into adult realities he decided to pursue his passion for automobiles as a career. Starting with 2 years at WKTCC in the Diesel Technology program, he also got a job at O'Reilly Auto Parts to gain more knowledge in the field. He then moved on to a maintenance technician position at Mike Smith Toyota. After 3 years there Richard joined the team at Bluegrass Honda in May of 2013 to better himself further as a line technician.

When not at work Richard can be found on weekends playing bass at local bars in his band Revelry, beating up on V8s with his 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX at local dirt drag races or upsetting the local SCCA chapter by practicing hand brake slides at their auto cross events, and hanging out around the house with his wife and young daughter.

  • Donna Pace

    Donna Pace

    Title Clerk

Except for brief adventures living in Virginia Beach, VA, Golconda and Metropolis, IL, and Muhlenburg County, KY, I’ve spent most of my life in Paducah KY.  Ironically, when I lived in Illinois I worked (for 20+ years) at a bank in Kentucky; then I moved home and wound up working at a small bank in southern Illinois (for 3 years)- my car didn’t know if I was coming or going...

After the small bank in Illinois sold and I was “downsized” again, I made the leap to the car business.  I started with another dealership in town, but found a home with Bluegrass in 2005. I've been here for 8 years now and hope to have many, many more!! My main job is Cost Accounting, but I also do other accounting functions as well.

My family is the most important part of my life.  I have #1 daughter Krista with husband Gary, and grandchildren Megan, Austin, and Dylan in Paducah, KY; and, #2 daughter Shana, with grandchildren Ashlynn, and Gavin who live with me. The grandkids range in age from 22 to 4 so life is never boring and frequent babysitting keeps me young.

Outside of work, I’m an avid reader.  I read pretty much anytime I can, and have been known to read the phonebook and the dictionary when things are slow.  I also love yard work and doing DIY projects at home.

I was born and raised in Marion. Apart from living in New York while in the Army, I've lived my whole life here. I now live south of Marion with my wife, three boys, 4 dogs, a cat and a host of other critters. I started in the car business part time cleaning the shop when I was 12. I started full-time in 1989. I had a sabbatical from 2003-2006 when I founded a software company that sold software to car dealers. I got back into the car business on 2/1/2007 when my wife Cheryl and I purchased Marion Ford Hyundai. We have since purchased other dealerships; Bluegrass Honda-BMW in Paducah KY in 2009, Marion Chevrolet-Cadillac-Buick-GMC in Marion in 2011, Madisonville Ford-Nissan in Madisonville, Kentucky in 2011 Hyundai of Cape Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, MO in 2012, and Nissan of Marion in Marion IL 2013. Together, we refer to our group of dealerships as Watermark Automotive Group and you can find out more behind the name at www.watermarkautogroup.com

My only active hobby is playing the trumpet, usually within a brass quintet at First Christian Church in Marion with some friends of mine from high school. I have played the trumpet for 36 years and enjoy it very much. I have some inactive hobbies that I hope to resume someday such as woodworking. I would also like to be on a S.W.A.T. team, but I am past the maximum age. I still dream about that one though and hope that some municipality will waive the age thing for me, especially since I know the theme song so well.

I have three wonderful boys that are active in scouting, fishing, little league baseball, playing with the neighbor boys, digging holes and wrecking ATVs. I am a member of the Marion Community Unit No. 2 Board of Education, and currently I am honored to serve as President of the Board. I am a member of the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) The Board oversees the operation of many hospitals and other health-care related facilities throughout southern Illinois and employs over 3,000 residents which makes it the second largest employer in our entire region. I am a member of the Marion Rotary Club. My wife Cheryl is a non-practicing attorney. She does a terrific job of guiding the boys through their misadventures and making her fourth boy's life (me) a living blessing.

I’ve asked all our team members to make the effort of writing a bio here so that you can get to know them better. I hope you allow us the time to get to know YOU better. Just like you, we are real people with real lives with a zest for living and the car business. Please come visit us anytime. At Watermark, our real will seal your deal!
